‘Tsunami’ makes entry to Milano International FICTS Festival

Iranian movie ‘Tsunami’ has entered the competition program of the 2020 Milano International FICTS Festival in Italy.

‘Tsunami’ by Milad Sadrameli is the Iranian attendee at the 38th edition of the festival, which is dedicated to sports movies. 

The flick narrates the story of a taekwondo competitor who wants to regain his previous status. For him to achieve what he wants, he must face a stubborn, young world champion who is also known as Tsunami. But there is turmoil in his personal life too.

Bahram Radan, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Amir-Mehdi Jule and Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari make the cast team of the film.

‘Tsunami’ made its first international screening at the 4th Wales Film Festival where it won a nomination for best foreign language film.

The Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS) is the organizer of the event, which was the final phase of the World FICTS Challenge that runs in 16 countries around the world including Iran.

The festival will be running in the Italian city of Milan from November 7 to 11.
